Association of Builders and developers rejected the tax amnesty scheme

Association of Builders and developers has rejected the tax amnesty scheme proposed by Government Officials. Vice chairman of ABAD, Arif Jewa told in a press conference that FBR’s proposed Tax amnesty scheme is unacceptable in which filers are going to be taxed at 1% and non-filers at a ratio of 2%. He demanded that there should be zero percent tax for filers and on the other hand, taxation ratio for non-filers should be increased. “We are raising these issues on a proper forum with the Government, we want zero percent outstanding tax. We also want this country to progress and prosper, therefore we are ready to pay taxes in future,”. Keep visiting sbx.com.pk for more updates and news.
